As many of you know, Five Star Aviation has been a leading industry supplier of corporate, commercial, commuter, and helicopter parts for over 25 years. Our long-standing success can be attributed to a team with incredible experience and diversity in all aspects of aviation sectors and commercial businesses.
One of our most vital individuals is recently retired Vice President of Operations, Terry McCarty. Terry, a man of integrity and assertiveness, has left an indelible mark on our company. His passion and dedication to training are known by all. Terry truly found his calling by ensuring future aviators have a path forward if they wish to learn. We are deeply appreciative of Terry's years of service and the legacy he leaves behind.
We thank Terry for his years of service and wish him and his wife, Susan, happiness in the years to come. Now, Susan's hard work begins! Although Terry is retired, he will still be a handful!
Excited about the Future….
As with all good things, there is a natural transition to the future. Bearing this in mind, the Five Star Aviation family is thrilled to welcome Jeffrey (Jeff) Snyder, our new Vice President and General Manager. Jeff’s extensive experience and expertise will undoubtedly steer us towards new heights. We are excited about the fresh perspectives and opportunities he brings to our company.
Jeff has over 40 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry as a premier expert in MRO, Lean Manufacturing, and Aftermarket Sales. He has led turnaround and start-up programs for domestic and international aviation companies worldwide and held executive positions at Dassault Falcon Jet, Raytheon Aerospace, BE Aerospace, and MD Helicopters. In addition, he has served on the boards of Directors for the General Aviation Manufacturers Association and the FAA Technical Services Committee.
